Classes
Your love of dance and performing doesn’t ever have to end. There is no age limit. While we offer some specialized classes for younger performers most of our classes are for teens, 20’s and up.
Class schedule
Below is the current class schedule. All participants MUST sign up prior to the class. No walk ups at this time, all sign ups will remain open until the class begins and are completed online.
At Lachey Arts we feel that the arts should be available to everyone, not just those who can afford it. If you are interested in taking class at Lachey Arts but are unable to due to financial restraints, we invite you to request a scholarship.

Act II // 12-14 yr Theatre class
This 11 week, 12-14 year old theatre class, led by Lea Lachey, focuses on all of the important Theatre dance elements. It will breakdown turns, technique, leaps, multiple styles and conditioning. Assisting in repertoire and audition materials. At this crucial age, these young artists will be nurtured but also challenged to become the best versions of themselves as performers

Commercial Dance
For decades, music videos taught us what was cool, pushed boundaries and influenced us with the latest dances. This class is inspired by the performers that impacted today’s pop culture. Join us for this high energy class that will take you through all of the commercial styles that you see on TV and in Film.

This intermediate class uses great music to focus on rhythm, shifting of weight and getting clean, crisp sounds. Whether you want to brush up on your technique or push yourself to learn new tap skills, this fun, upbeat class is a perfect fit.

Theatre 101
This class is a great introduction into what Lachey Arts is all about. This hour long class will involve singing, dancing and even acting improvisation exercises. Geared towards our younger artists, it is sure to bring lots of fun and creativity.

Hip hop
Come be a part of a class that will blend your current favorite music and the latest hip hop trends. This fun and energetic class will get you comfortable with Hip Hop basics as well as expand your dance repertoire.

Theater Dance
This class will focus on the many different styles of dance that are found on stage. An authentic connection to your movement makes your story honest and true. With an emphasis on musicality and character this class will bring out a genuine performance. Come explore true story telling through dance.
Mondays 7:15-8:15pm

This class is for anyone wanting to dive into the basics of heel work while focusing on placement and technique. Find your strength in turns, leg extensions, and precise foot work. This hour will be exciting and helpful for both the beginner and the experienced dancer that wants to perfect their technique.

This class encourages dancers to be versatile with their expressions, emotions and movement styles. It blends musicality, technique and artistry in a creative and innovative way.

This high energy, action packed, vivacious dance class is done in heels and incorporates many genres of dance. This class will make you feel empowered, confident and strong. Gain strength in your movement while perfecting clean lines and proper alignment with precision and style.
