Lachey Arts Camp 2023   ANNOUNCEMENT

After much thought and consideration have decided to not hold the 2023 2 week summer camp. This was not an easy decision since “Camp” was what started it all for Lachey Arts. There are only so many hours in the day and Lachey Arts has several other exciting projects happening over the summer. We will still be offering a wide variety of classes at the studio, summer intensives and “Kids Camp” (dates coming soon). This is not the end of “Camp” but a pause. Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see you in the studio soon.

“The Lachey Arts Camp experience enabled my daughter to gain valuable exposure to talented professionals, who challenged her through mentoring, coaching, 1:1s, and performance, to excel in something she has a passion to pursue as a career, right here in Cincinnati. With Drew and Lea’s commitment, she will be better prepared on her journey to becoming a talented performer.”

Frequently Asked Questions……

1. What are the dates for summer 2022?

9am - 4pm. July 25th - August 5th (Monday through Friday) but these are subject to change

2. What are the age requirements?

The students must be between the ages of 12 - 19 but there are exceptions to this rule.

3. How much does the session cost?

The total fee for the 2- week session is $1,250.00 (scholarships are available)

4. Does my child need to attend both weeks?

Yes.  This is critical so the students have time to work on the new skills they have learned and with the help of the faculty implement those skills into the final showcase.

5. Do you require auditions & how are the students selected?

We are not holding auditions for this session.  We do require a letter of recommendation and phone number from your current arts teacher to be included with your application. This is necessary so Lachey Arts can follow up and gauge the student's skill level. The acceptance policy weighs heavily on the letter of recommendation and follow up with their current arts teacher.  We do accept all different skill levels.  There are limited spots so we recommend getting your application in as soon as possible.

6. I don't live in Cincinnati.  Can I still attend?

Of course.  Lodging is not provided but we can recommend options for accommodations. However, Lachey Arts is not responsible for the students outside of camp hours.

7. How do I apply?

Fill out the application located on the "CAMP" page of the website and press submit.  Once your application is received you will be notified within two weeks if you have been accepted. Space is limited.

8. What kind of clothing should the students wear?

Since they will be dancing everyday, they must wear appropriate attire.  Acceptable attire is...

Girls- Dance clothes, leggings, sweat pants, shorts, t-shirts.  Nothing baggy please.

Guys- Dance clothes, sweat pants, shorts, t-shirts.  Nothing baggy please.
